On 1 August 2024, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gan Chanyawudhiwan,
Acting Vice-President for Academic Services, Cultural Preservation, and International Affairs, delivered full-body stockings and hard plastic cups to the Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute (SNMRI). The full-body stockings and hard plastic cups would be recycled to produce prosthetic legs.
On 2 August 2024 Miss Kittiya Chayangam, Head of STOU Nonthaburi Student Club delivered donated dolls, shoes, stationaries, cloth bags, paper bags and lottery tickets to Mr. Tamphong Wongchan, Acting Director of the STOU’s Regional Academic Resources and Community Engagement Center – Nonthaburi and the representative from the Department of International Affairs, the STOU’s representative. Then STOU would distribute these donated items to the Mirror Foundation and Baan Nokkamin Foundation. Lottery tickets would be distributed to Wat Huai Mu – Ratchaburi. Cloth and paper bags would be distributed to Thammasat University Hospital.
On 8 August 2024 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gan Chanyawudhiwan, Acting Vice-President for Academic Services, Cultural Preservation, and International Affairs, accompanied by staff from
the Department of International Affairs, represented the university to donate both new and reusable items such as dolls, toys, shoes, stationaries, clothes, rain jackets, and stationaries
to the Mirror Foundation.
The Mirror Foundation is an NGO where working involves social development, human rights, media and IT, volunteer development, and resources sharing to enhance learning and life potential, with operational areas covering online (internet), urban, and rural communities.
The Mirror Foundation hopes to be a mirror that reflects the real stories of society and helps those affected by social changes. There philosophy is to create people and create innovations, which will create changes to society through various projects. The Mirror Foundation welcomes volunteers to help and create activities towards these goals.

Baan Nokkamin Foundation is a Christian organization that offers assistance to orphans, street children, underprivileged children, the elderly and drug addicts by developing and changing their lives and strengthening them emotionally so that they are ready to face the world in the future with taking care as “Family” through projects. Baan Nokkamin Foundation welcomes volunteers to create activities for children.
