Due to flooding in the southern region of Thailand during the past month, many residents experienced shortages of essential supplies in the area. Subsequently, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) opened a donation center for essential items to be distributed to the Great Flooding Area. On 17 December 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khajornsak Sitthi, Director of
the Office of Educational Services, distributed donated items to STOU students and community leaders in three southern border provinces of Thailand through Thailand Post delivery services.
