Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) reaffirmed its commitment to inclusivity on 12 September 2024, by welcoming its disability students, their support personnel, and parents. Asst. Prof. Dr. Phanompatt Smitananda, Acting President of STOU, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narathip Sriram, Acting Vice-President for Education, Learning Support, and Research, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Khajornsak Sitthi, Director of the Office of Educational Services, and other faculty members, welcomed the students to the second preparatory workshop for disability students at the Educational Broadcasting Production Center (EBPC). The workshop was designed to provide students with the necessary support and resources to succeed in their academic journey.
Mr. Jakkree Sawatdimongkon, Acting Head of the e-Learning Center, provided an overview of STOU’s online learning resources, including the STOU website and STOU Media.
Mrs. Ampron Sirirangpan, Head of the Examination Site Unit, offered guidance on exam preparation, dress code requirements, and specific accommodations for disability students, both for on-campus and online exams. The event concluded with an open forum where students shared their insights and experiences related to their education.
